Swedish actress. Born Inga Maria Alenius. She was well known in both television, and film. In 1982, she had great success for her role as "Lisen" in "Fanny and Alexande" she worked with Director "Ingmar Bergman" it won a "Academy Award" for "Best Foreign Language Film". She studied at the "City" Theater's drama school in "Norrköping". She worked at the County Theater in "Västerås", "Peoples" Theater in "Gothenburg", and the "National" Theater. Her first film credit was in 1968, a film starring the pop rock group, "Sven Ingvars". She worded in Sweden's longest running television series for 30 years, playing the role of "Astrid" on Hem till byn. In the early 1990's she was in several roles starring alongside actor "Nils Poppe".
