Arthur Samuel Beamer, 72, of York formerly of the Wendsville area, died Sunday morning, July 29, at a Lancaster hospital.
He was born in the Wenksville area on Sept. 23, 1918 and was a son of the late Harvey and Rebecca Warren Beamer. He was a veteran of World War II where he served in the Pacific theater.
He is survived by a brother, Percy Beamer of Aspers; and three sisters, Isabelle Black of Aspers, Hazel Boone of Abbottstown and Elsie Warren of Bendersville.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at Mount Rose Cemetery, York. The Leber Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
