He was born on January 12, 1936, in Saint Jacob, IL, the son of Orlando and Sadie (nee Peters) Ludwig.
He was a former member of the Teamsters Union.
Robert was born in St. Jacob, IL and grew up and lived most of his life in Alhambra. He joined the US Air Force and served in Korea. He owned and drove a truck most all of his working career. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, riding motorcycles, NASCAR, and was a wonderful father and grandfather.
