Emma Egan died of the Flu during the Spanish Flu Pandemic that run from March 1918 to spring 1919. The flu killed 50 to 100 million people, or 1 of 5 people in world's population. In late August 1918, the second wave of the Spanish flu struck. All felt the lethalness of this new mutation immediately which was still contagous, but now exceedingly deadly.--------
