LODI James A. Belles, 64, of Lodi, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2003, from injuries sustained in an auto accident in Lafayette Township.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi, with Pastor Michael Skrant officiating. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
Friends may call today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9 at the funeral home.
He was born May 2, 1939, in Kittanning, Pa., to Charles and Marian (Donaldson) Belles and married Alice Williams. She survives.
He grew up in Kittanning, where he was a high school graduate and moved to Cleveland in 1957, where he resided before moving to Lodi in 1973. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a driver-salesman for Nickles Bakery for 30 years, retiring in January 2003.
He was a member of Medina Fraternal Order of Eagles and Lodi American Legion Post 523.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are children, Missy (James) Clement of Seville, Trisha Malin of Chippewa Lake, Laura (Corey) Leonard of Lodi, Shawn (Jill) of North Ridgeville, Cory and Cody, both of the home; seven grandchildren; sisters, Cathy (John) Vargo of Ford City, Pa., Bonnie (William) Emahiser, Patty McCollough and Janice Bells, all of Kittanning, Pa.; and brothers, Terry (Donna) Belles, Teddy (Nancy) Belles and Billy Belles, all of Kittanning, Pa.
His parents, sisters, Maryann Edwards and Sandy Myers and a brother, Sonny Belles, died previously.
