Janice Lynn Belles, age 62, of Kittanning, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at Armstrong County Health Center.

She was born June 28, 1953, in Kittanning, Armstrong Co., PA to Charles "Ted" and Marian (Donaldson) Belles.

Janice was a resident of Evergreen Homes from 1986 to 2007. She was a former member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Kittanning and also the PARC Association. She had been employed with the Progressive Workshop for over 25 years as an assembly worker and truly loved her job. Over the years, she participated in the Special Olympics at Indiana, PA and Penn State, PA and also attended Camp Sunshine for many years. Janice enjoyed dancing, bowling, and folding clothes. Listening to Elvis was one of her favorite things to do besides watching "Capt. Kirk" on Star Trek. Her greatest joy came from spending time with children. She will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is survived by two brothers, John"Terry" Belles and wife, Donna and William "Bill" Belles and companion, Connie Shick all of Kittanning; three sisters, Patty McCullough of Kittanning, Cathy Vargo and husband, John of Ford City, and Bonnie Emhaiser and companion, Jerry Cousins of Kittanning; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Charles Edward Belles, Jr., James Arthur Belles, and Robert "Ted" Belles; and three sisters, Frances Belles, Mary Ann Edwards, and Sandra Myers.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at the Bauer Funeral Home, 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA.

Additional visitation will be held at 12 PM until the time of funeral services at 1 PM on Friday, January 15, 2016, at the funeral home with the Rev. Bert Daly officiating.

Interment will follow at Lawn Haven Burial Estates, E. Franklin Twp., Armstrong Co., PA

Memorial Contributions may be made in Janice's honor to the Progressive Workshop, 301 Oak Avenue, Kittanning, PA 16201.
