Goodwell, Oklahoma – Virginia L. Rowan, 82, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017, at Vibra Hospital, in Amarillo, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia and Cecil "Buck" Buckner, her brothers Bobby and Lonnie "Punch" Buckner, and her beloved husband James Alvin "Al" Rowan.

Survivors include two daughters, Karie Hoffman (Gary) and Suezell Owens, both of Denver, Colorado; son, Ray Rowan of Kit Carson, Colorado; sister and brother-in-law, Cherrie and Fred (Buster) Brown of rural Cimarron County, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Kate Owens of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Riley Hoffman of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by special friends who she loved as family, Chris King and Gayle Boss.

Memorial services will be held Saturday morning, May 13th, at 10:00 A.M., at the Henson-Novak Chapel of Guymon, Oklahoma with family friend, Bill Newman officiating. Please come comfortable and casual, which is the way Virginia would have liked it.
