Helen Dean Sullivan, 88, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Rochelle Rehab and Healthcare Center. She was born February 5, 1929 in McLeansboro, Illinois, the daughter of John and Hattie (Mayberry) Biggerstaff.

Helen married Millard John Sullivan on August 13, 1949. He predeceased her June 24, 1988. She was formerly employed by Rockford Products for 24 years. Helen enjoyed fishing, collecting carnival glass, road trips, and trips to casinos. She was famous for her home made noodles.

Survivors include: son, Rick (Nancy) Sullivan; daughter, Linda Sullivan (Bob Allen); stepson, Barry Sullivan; grandchildren, Tona (Chris) Gargani, Shana (Jeff) Pearce, Ashley Meyer, Amber (Cody) Newberry, and Haley Sullivan; sister, Nancy Roth; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by: parents; husband; brother, Edsel Biggerstaff; and sister, Maxine Kunkel.

Service on Thursday, March 16, 2017 in Sundberg Funeral Home, Rockford. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park.
