MRS. HOLBROOK, 85, SOUTH BEND DIES; FUNERAL MONDAY
Mrs. Olive M. Holbrook, 85 of South Bend Township, died in a local hospital Friday.
She was born in Wells, MN in 1862. She and A.W. Holbrook were married 65 years ago in Albert Lea where she lived several years. After living in Norfolk, NE and Zahl, ND, she came to Mankato in 1935. Surviving are five sons, C.C. Holbrook, Billings, MT, R.S. Holbrook, Helena, MT, G. L. Holbrook Great Falls, MT, BB. Holbrook, Marmouth, ND, and N.H. Holbrook, Mankato. Also 29 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
Her only daughter, Mrs. Sybil Buckholtz, died 2 years ago. One son, Frederick, died 30 years ago. Mrs. Holbrook was a member of the Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Kelly-Johnson-Bowman funeral home, with Rev. Raymond Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Minneapolis* beside her husband who died ten years ago.
