Jacques was the son of Jacques Artault and Marguerite Rousseau. He married Ursule Véronique Demers on 20 Jan. 1749 in La Prairie, La Prairie Co., Quebec. They had 19 children together, at least 13 of whom died in infancy or childhood, as follows (born in La Prairie unless noted otherwise):

Gravesite Details

Buried in the Catholic cemetery in La Prairie. It is not certain whether the grave was relocated to the new cemetery.
