Lillian Fletcher DeJean, a resident of Waupaca the last 17 years and a former resident of Brooklyn, died at 7 pm Wednesday December 25, 1941. She was in poor health for some time.
She was a member of the United Brethren Church and a kind loving wife and mother, always willing to do for her friends. Mrs. DeJean was born January 19, 1867 in the town of Exeter, Green County, Wisconsin. Her husband, George William DeJean died May 19, 1938. Surviving her is a son, Robert of Waupaca and one sister, Mary Hollibush, Evansville, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held in Brooklyn Methodist Church Sunday, December 29th. Burial in the Brooklyn cemetery. Rev Stanke officiating.
