Funeral services were held Wednesday for Charles A. Fletcher in the B. L. Booth Funeral Home, Oregon, conducted by the Rev Oscar Stanke, pastor of Brooklyn church with interment in the Belleville Cemetery.
Mr. Fletcher was born in Green County about 78 years ago and the greater part of his life has been spent in Dane County on farms.
The deceased was a desirable neighbor and an honored citizen living the life of the common people. Later in years of his life he has spent mostly with his son Raymond. The past few months, Mr. Fletcher had not been in the best of health, yet was able to be up and around until just recently. He passed away Tuesday at the farm home town of Oregon owned by Ed Lawry.
His family surviving is one son Raymond, three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Lawry, Evansville, Mrs. Elizabeth Sedorski, Berlin, Mrs. Doris Pennewell, Davenport, Iowa, two sisters Mrs. G. W. DeJean, Waupaca and Mrs. Wm Hollibush, Evansville.
