Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Mother-in-Law, Sister, Aunt and Friend Amparo Sandoval Aceves joined the Lord on February 24th 2017 after a battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years Gilberto Aceves and is survived by her seven children: Luis, Lupe (Mike), Leon (Jeanette), Gilbert Jr., Marylou (Chris), Joe (Sonia), and Robert (Carmen). Eleven grandchildren, Katie, Nadia, Lucas, Leon Jr., Lynette, Leanna, Jessica, Christopher, Raymond, Robert Jr.,and Andrew. Great grandchildren Lorena and Rhett. Great, great grandchild Mariana. And her loyal dog Pinto.

She was born on November 20, 1939 in Moyahua, Zacatecas Mexico and was a Camarillo resident for over 50 years. On April 20, 1999 she proudly became an American citizen.

Amparo cherished being a member of the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church and proudly belonged to the Grupo de Adoracion Nocturno, Grupo Guadalupana and her Bible study/rosary and prayer group.

She will always be remembered for her strong faith, love of her family, warm smile, her great advise, and compassionate heart. We will miss her wisdom, her blessings, delicious cooking, and hearing her say "Si Dios Quiere". Thank you to all her dear friends and relatives near and far that offered prayers and love. It’s a true blessing to see how many hearts she touched.

The family would like to thank Dr. Christopher Arnold, D.O. (Primary) Dr. David P. Masiello, M.D. (Oncology) and Dr Henry Montes, M.D.( Radiation) and all their staff for their support, compassion and dedication. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at Pleasant Valley Hospital, Livingston Memorial, Seaview IPA, and Assisted Living for the wonderful care she received during her illness.

Services will be as follows: Viewing on Wednesday March 1, 2017 from 5:00 to 9:00 (rosary at 6:30pm) at Perez Family Funeral Home, 1347 Del Norte Rd. Camarillo. Mass on Thursday March 2, 2017 at 10:00am at St. Mary Magdalen Church on Las Posas Rd., Camarillo. Burial to follow at Santa Clara Cemetery in Oxnard CA.
