Donald Bowser, age 85, Terra Alta, WV and Mentor, passed away March 23, 2017 at Oakland Nursing and Rehabilitation in Oakland, MD. He was born November 2, 1931 in Turner Douglas, WV.
Mr. Bowser had worked as an engineer for Lubrizol in Ohio, retiring in 1995. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his step sons, Barton and Patrick Woodside; 2 grandchildren; sister, Freda (Bowser) Boone and other loving family members.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; sisters, Thelma Hardesty, Emma Nehls and Ima Jean Thomas; brothers, Lawrence Bowser and step brother, Roscoe Sines.
A chapel service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday , March 29, 2017 at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chilicothe Rd., Chesterland, OH 44026.

Son of John Wesley Bowser (5 July 1897 Garrett Co MD--15 Apr 1968 Monongalia Co WV) and Oda F Reams (b 11 Jan 1895 Oakland MD). John remarried to Hyskell Andrews and is buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Mt. Morris PA.
His mother remarried to Asa Sines. Her parents John Jacob Reams (1868 MD--1951 Oakland MD) and Phila Belle Lewis (1871 MD--1928 Oakland) are buried in Taylor-Sines Cemetery in Oakland.
