She was the daughter of the late Oscar Lee and Minnie Alcorn Sipe. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Moody; two sisters, Alta Green and Lois Gilliland; and four brothers, Ralph, Ed, Paul, and Bill Sipe.
She was survived by three daughters, Patricia M. Butt (Robert), Norma M. Faulk, and Nancy M. Lindley (Darryle); one brothers, Jack Sipe; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
