Mrs. Diller was born November 25, 1909 in Mills County, Texas. She married David Byron Diller July 25, 1933. He preceded her in death in 1955. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was a prominent area rancher maintaining Salers cattle.
She was a graduate of Albany High School and attended Baylor University and Texas Tech University and taught school one year at Diller School south of Fort Griffin. Mrs. Diller was a member of the Albany Study Club and with them helped organize the Shackelford County Library. She was a member and docent of the Old Jail Art Center. She served on the Board of the Ranching Heritage Center, Lubbock, Texas, and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include four nephews, James Palmer of Sutton, Quebec, Canada, Byron Palmer of Preddis, Alberta, Canada, Scott and Tom Palmer, both of Pincher Creek, Alberta, Canada; four great- nephews; and six great-nieces
