Christopher Hagen, 67, was born in Norway in May, 1872. He was married to Miss Olive Sanden in British Columbia. They came to Whitefish in 1910. In the early years of his residence here, he was planing mill foreman for the Somers Lumber Company. After the mill was closed, he went into business for himself. Shortly after the death of his wife 12 years ago, he closed his business and later became a stockholder and director of the Birdseye Mine, in the Hog Heaven district, near Kila.
Friends were present from Kalispell and other parts of the county, where he had resided for 30 years.
