Kyle Kubousek, age 39 of Fargo, ND, formerly of Milbank died March 14, 2017, in Cass County, ND.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 18 at 2 p.m. at Mundwiler Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Milbank Cemetery.

Father Dana Christensen will officiate. Casket bearers will be: Morgan Dorsett, Ian Durkin, Charlie Kubousek, Dave Fish, Chris Santamaria, Marv Kubousek, Jack Kubousek, Oscar Noetzel, and Joe Marvin, Jr. Music will be provided by Tim Mundwiler.

Kyle Matthew Kubousek was born January 16, 1978, in Greenbush, MN. He was the son of Allen and Lynda (Lofthus) Kubousek. Kyle grew up in Milbank, SD and graduated from Milbank High School in 1996. He attended college at North Dakota State University and Northern Arizona University, where he was a member of Delta Chi Fraternity. Kyle lived in various states and most recently had settled in Fargo, ND.

Kyle was dedicated to the positive impact of fitness in people's lives. He worked as a personal trainer, nutrition advisor, and coach. He had a passion for bodybuilding and competed and coached at a regional and national level. Kyle was know for his loyalty to his family, friends, and clients.

Kyle is survived by his mother, Lynda Kubousek of Plymouth, MN; one brother, Kirk (Melissa) Kubousek of Plymouth, MN; two nephews: Jack and Harrison Kubousek as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen; and his grandparents.

Fargo police have identified the man killed by a train as 39-year old Kyle M. Kubousek of Fargo. 

The incident was reported around 4 a.m.Tuesday in 4000 block of Main Avenue by a BNSF conductor who witnessed it. He told police it did not appear Kubousek was trying to cross the tracks in front of the west bound freight train. An eastbound train was passing the location at the same time. 

Deputy Police Chief Joe Anderson says the death is under investigation but foul play is not suspected.
