ROBERT DAVIS IS DEAD AT 28

Robert LeRoy Davis, 28, of 1230 Ure st., died Wednesday at Broadlawns General hospital after six weeks of illness. He was an employee of the Bruce Transfer Co. and a member of the Moose lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Veneta; two sons, Richard, 8 and Gary, 7; seven sisters, Margaret Davis, Boone, Ia.; Mrs. Mary Gaulke, Atlantic, Ia.; Mrs. Vera Moreland, Mrs. Edna Lewis, Mrs. Hazel Young, Mrs. Dorothy Clements and Mrs. Fayrene Ellenwood, all of Des Moines; and two brothers, John W., Fort Dodge, Ia., and George W., with the armed forces in the state of Washington.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will be at Laurel Hill cemetery.
Bob died at the age of 28 of lung cancer.
