Mr. William David Gadd age 96, of Mt.Vernon passed away Sunday March 12, 2017 at his home. He was born on March 20, 1920 in Rockcastle County the son of the late John Armp and Laura Bell Smith Gadd. He was a retired farmer and retired from the Berea Sanitation Department. He was a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors are: four son; Donald, Arnold, Floyd and Lloyd Gadd all of Mt.Vernon. One daughter; Brenda Sutton of Mt.Vernon. Twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, twenty great great grandchildren, and one special great grandson; Curtis Fugate also survives. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by: his wife; Birdie Jane Croucher Gadd, by one son; Howard Gadd, and by two daughters; Janie McCollum, and Helen Mason. A Great Granddaughter Abby Marie Langford and Great Great Granddaughter Skyler Anna Belle Benton Felty.
