Junior E. Jones, age 90 of Bowling Green, passed away at home, March 9th, 2017. He was born in Warren County on June 11th, 1926 to the late Edward Jones and the late Elizabeth Huff Jones. He was married to the late Maxine Jones for forty years. He was retired from American Chain and Cable and was member of Lost River Church of Christ. He was a World War II veteran serving in the Philippines.

He is survived by two daughters, Wilma Tagliere, Las Vegas, NV and June Hays (Jeff), Bowling Green, KY; one son, Pat Durham, Chicago, IL; grandson, Jacky Killian, Bowling Green; two nieces, one nephew and other grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Noble and James Jones.

Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Wednesday March 15th at J.C. Kirby and Son, Broadway Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 14th from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and from 9:00 AM until time for services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ Cemetery.
