Betty Ann Williams Harris, age 82, of 801 Musgrove Street and widow of Rev. Bachman Bailey Harris (1935-2010), passed away Friday,March 10, 2017, at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville.

Mrs. Harris was born in Orangeburg and was a daughter of the late Cyril Edson Williams, Sr. (1895-1935) and Mozelle Morris Williams (1898-1972).

She worked at Presbyterian College from 1980 to 2002.

Mrs. Harris is survived by her son, B. Bailey Harris, Jr. (Beth) of Lexington; her daughter, Michelle H. Ellis (Steve) of Gray Court; six grandchildren, Drew Harris (Jeanne),Thomas Harris, Eliza Harris, Katie Barry (David), Bailey Dean (Jay) and Chad Ellis; a great-grandchild, Rome Dean; and two special friends, Pam LaHay Orr of Clinton and Charles LaHay of Elm City, NC.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by four brothers, C. E. Williams, Douglas Williams, Henry Williams and Billy Williams; and a sister,Mary Elizabeth Williams.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017, at 10 AM, at First Presbyterian Church of Clinton. The family will receive friends following the service in the Church Fellowship Hall.

A graveside service will also be held Friday afternoon at 3:30 PM at Blackville Cemetery.
