She was a member of the Fortuna Methodist church, 50-year member of the Reichlig parlor of the Native Daughters of the Golden West, past noble grand of the chapter 197, of the Independent Rebekahs, and a member of the Rohnerville chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She was a past guardian of Bethel 85, Job's Daughters, and for many years was the chairman of the Salvation Army in Fortuna. She was associated for the last 15 years with the Hanson-Hunter furniture business as a bookkeeper.
She was the wife of the late William F. Kaliher, resident fish and game warden in the Fortuna area for many years. She is survived by one step-son, William F. Kaliher of Long Beach; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Lentz, Fortuna, and Mrs. Mona Detlefsen, Ferndale; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Glines, Fortuna, and Mrs. Alice Y. Mulley, Glendale; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Julia Mulley of Eureka; and an aunt, Mrs. Ella Moore of Eureka; and three grandchildren, Donnalee, Leanne, and Barbara Detlefsen, all of Ferndale.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 6 at the Emmerson's Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Ray F. Magnuson, pastor of the Fortuna Methodist Church officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Ocean View Cemetery.
