HOUSTON—Alicia Burton, 39, departed this life on, March 5, 2017, at Hermann Memorial Southwest Hospital in Houston, TX.
She was born on February 27, 1978, in Galveston and was a 1997 graduate of Ball High School.
She was a member of the Fountain of Faith Ministries, where she served as a deaconess. In her spare time, she enjoyed life, dancing, taking pictures, shopping and cooking. She was a kind and free-hearted person, who never meet a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Adeline and Henry; aunt, Alfreda Stinson; and uncle, Rufus Burton.
She leaves cherished memories with her children, Anthony, Adeline, Brittany, Damon and Allen; grandchildren, Kenneth and A’Miyah; mother, Angeline; father, Charles; sister, Adrienne; and a host of cousins, friends and extended family.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M., today, March 18, 2017, at Live Oak Baptist Church, with Pastor Vernon Baines officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Sign guestbook at www.fieldsjohnson.com
