Otto Bachman, 82, passed away on Monday, March 6 at his home in Thalia, Texas. He was born July 11, 1934 in Vernon to Otto and Lydia Graf Bachman. Otto was a graduate of Lockett High School and was known far and wide for his barbecue and homemade German sausage. He was a farmer and a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. He married Joyce Carpenter on May 22, 1954 in Lockett, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Joyce, of the home; 2 sons Rocky of Thalia, Texas and William and wife, Patsy, of Electra, Texas; 1 daughter, Sandra McBeath and husband, Glen, of Thalia, Texas; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; one brother, Larry Bachman of Lockett, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Services were held at Sullivan Funeral Home in Vernon and burial was in Wilbarger Memorial Park.
