Lee Pobjoy, 64, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of the Wisconsin Dells and Madison areas, died May 12 in Phoenix, Ariz. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Juene Cleaveland, Brodhead; two sons, Grant, Dane, and Eldrid, Grand Island, Neb., and nine grandchildren. Mr. Pobjoy was formerly employed by Oscar Mayer and Co. here as a guard for several years.

Levi's biological parents were Levi Armstrong & Ida Clara (Dix) Armstrong. After the death of his father, his mother could no longer care for her children, and they were fostered out and/or adopted. Levi Armstrong, Jr. was adopted by Grant I. Pobjoy & his wife Myrtie. After the adoption, Levi's name became Lee Pobjoy.
