Mrs. Cecelia G. Lutz, 85-year-old widow of 507 North Third Street, died at 8:25 o'clock this morning at St. Elizabeth Hospital where she had been a patient for several weeks. She was the mother of Frederick E. Lutz of Lebanon, president and general manager of Century Brass Works and chairman of the board of Belleville Junior College District 522.
She was born in Belleville on February 14, 1884, a daughter of the late Fred and Elizabeth Winter, nee Sattler, and married Emil F. Lutz in Belleville in 1913. her husband died on September 9, 1958.
Surviving besides her son are three grandchildren, Mrs. Susan Symer, Mrs. Debora Boller and Jeffrey Lutz, and two great grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the George Renner and Sons Funeral Home.
