I have many fond memories of such a wonderful friend/neighbour.Such a lovely lady with a heart of gold.
Back in the days when you were lucky to have a T.V. in the house for the kids to watch, most of us kids would play out on the street.
When the ice cream van came around any kid on the street out playing with Joan's kids would get a lolly, she always brought us kids one.(although My Mum did the same for her kids)
Her husband George tends to her grave keeping it weed free almost every day, even after all these years.
