Services for Geneieve Hicks, 75, were Monday at Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Higle officiating. Interment was at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Born at Healdton to Anderson and Amy Rose Palmer Henson, she died at the local hospital following an extended illness.
She married Raymond Hicks on Aug. 11, 1939, at Ardmore. She and her husband had lived in Ardmore for the past 18 years, moving back to the area from Oklahoma City. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; four sons, Ronnie, Gary and Tim Hicks, all Oklahoma City, and Joe Hicks, Tulsa; one sister, Onita Stanley, Ardmore; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Steve Hicks, Randy Brogdon, Randy Newcomb, John Washburn, Mike Stracner and Ricky Duncan.
