Audrey Moore Magill Norris, age 93, a resident of Wheaton, Ill., and a woman of great faith and love for Jesus, went home to Heaven on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017.

She was born on Aug. 4, 1923, in DuBois, Pa., to Pauline and Wade Moore.

In 1942, she married Allen Magill of DuBois, where they raised their three children, Dick, Judy, and Bob. For many years they were active members of First Baptist Church of DuBois, Pa. Audrey loved her work at Maple Avenue Hospital in DuBois, Pa., as a nurse's aide and later as a unit clerk.

Upon the death of Allen, Audrey moved to Wheaton, Ill., so she could live closer to her daughter and three grandchildren. Her desire was to watch them grow up and be a part of their lives which she did and they all adored her.

She married Nelson Norris of Wheaton in 1988. She and Nels were active members of Wheaton Bible Church and their Vanguards Seniors program for many years.
Her Christian faith was an important part of her life. Her faith and love for God and her trust in Jesus Christ her Savior were central to her life. She was always supportive and ready to lend a helping hand, and brightened all the lives she touched. Her loving, caring spirit will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Richard (Susan Koff) Magill of New York City and Judy (Larry) Magill Simcox of Wheaton, Ill.; six grandchildren: Jeff Edwards, Straley Magill Grafton, Tim Simcox, Christy Simcox Kukovec, Kim Simcox Francis, and Jason Magill; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Allen (1978) and Nelson (1999); her son Bob (1976); her parents; and her three siblings, Don Moore of Buffalo, N.Y., Marie Engstrom of Glendale, Ariz., and Bill Moore of Groton, Conn.

All services will take place in DuBois, Pa. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at First Baptist Church, 197 Eastern Ave., in DuBois, Pa. Interment will be private at Morningside Cemetery in DuBois, Pa., and will take place prior to the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to Wheaton Bible Church, 27W500 North Ave., West Chicago, IL 60185; or to the Gideons International, P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214.
