BEULAH M. DOEHRMANN, 94, of Woodburn, passed away on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017. Born Nov. 23, 1922, in Woodburn, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Gebers) Helmke and was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church, in Bull Rapids. She is survived by her children, John (Carolyn) Sowers of Woodburn, Nancy (Willie) Meador of Greenfield, Rev. Paul (Betty) Doehrmann of Woodburn, Kathy (Roger) Hart of Auburn, and Susan (Michael) Wiggins of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brother, Virgil (Betty) Helmke of Medford, Ore.; and sister, Gloria Baeske of Woodburn. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, John Sowers Jr., in 1944; second husband, Albert Doehrmann, in 2008; brothers, Lawrence, Harold and Ernst Helmke; sisters, Esther Placek and Lillian Magnusen; and grandson, Derek Sowers. The family of Beulah Doehrmann also wants to thank Visiting Nurse for their wonderful care in her final days. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2017, at Zion Lutheran Church, 7616 Bull Rapids Road, Woodburn, with calling one hour prior. Rev. Derek Evans officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017, at the church. Burial at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Woodburn.
