Elizabeth Ahlstrand wife of the late Harry Ahlstrand, passed away on Tuesday, August 28th at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, Florida.

Born on April 17, 1918 in Greenwich, CT , she was the daughter of the late Martin and Edith (Rae) Howley. She worked in banking until her retirement in both Conncecticut and Florida. She had been a long time resident of Tamarac and Vero Beach, Florida.

Mrs. Ahlstrand is survived by two daughters Patricia Kropp of Watertown , CT , and Donna Ahlstrand of New York City , two grandchildren Martin Kropp of Sebastian , FL , and Jennifer (Kropp) Occhicone of Trumbull, two great grandsons Kyle and Cole Occhione. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a sisters Edith and Dorothy Howley, a brother James Howley and a grandson Douglas Kropp.

Graveside Services were held on Saturday September 1 , 2012 at 11 AM in Evergreen Cemetery 183 North St. Watertown , CT. There are no calling hours.
