He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; sisters, Charlotte Bessey of Tawas City and Betty Cannon of Flint; brother, Jim (Elaine) Bessey of Tawas City; sister-in-law, Margaret Bessey of Brooksville Fla.; and nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins along with his coffee buddies.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Clara Stephenson; and brothers, Harold (Snuffy) Bessey and Clarence Bessey.
