Kathleen V. Lesh Taylor, 95 years old, formerly of Ickesburg and the Kinkora Pythian Home, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017. She was born May 15, 1921 in Philadelphia. She was a member of the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church and past member of Towpath Court Order of Amaranth. She was a former tax collector for Saville Township, a renowned Perry County quilter and active volunteer for the Ickesburg Fire Company Auxiliary.

Kathleen was the widow of John K. Lesh and Cloyd A. Taylor Sr. and is survived by her daughters, Nancy Lesh of Audubon, Pa. and Sara Lesh of Garberville, Calif.; granddaughters, Debi Morris and Diane Haines and great grandchildren, Kessa and Ziya Morris and Kara Haines.

Services will be held on Sunday from the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport with a viewing from 1 PM until the funeral service at 2 PM with the Pastor Jean Felty officiating. Burial will follow in the Eshcol Cemetery, Millerstown.
