Bobbie Ellen Sykes, Reiman, Heath, was born December 23, 1926 in Delaware, Logan Co. Arkansas, the oldest of five children born to William Boyd and Olar Alma (Rollans) Sykes. She passed away February 21, 2017 in Tulsa, OK.
She worked as a retail bookkeeper for most of her working career, working well into her eighties. Her most recent job was a Walmart greeter, until health problems robbed her of mobility. As a greeter she was so well liked that customers often brought others just to meet her. A bubbly personality with nary a crossword toward anyone.
She married Lawrence D. Reiman Apr 5,1947 in Okla. City, together they had four sons. She later married W.R.'Dub' Heath in June 1974. They enjoyed traveling around the states until his health deteriorated, dying on Dec 21, 1985.
She was preceded in death by both parents, both husbands, and three brothers. She is survived by her sons: Lawrence, Fredrick, Victor and Martin. One brother: Mike Sykes; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a faithful member of the Tulsa Hills Baptist Church where her funeral services were held on Friday, February 24, 2017 conducted by Fitzgerald Ivy Funeral home, with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, OK.
