Clark C. Acox
Ringling-Services for Clark C. Acox will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ. Interment will follow in Ringling Memorial Cemetery.
Acox, who died Thursday in a local nursing home following an extended illness, was born Feb. 19, 1912, at Alma.
A resident of Ringling most of his life, he moved to Healdton five years ago and was a Jehovah Witness. His wife, Helen preceded him in death in 1964.
Survivors include five sons, Charles, Healdton; Don, Oklahoma City, Richard, Gordonsville, Texas, Jerry, Minco, and Danny, Ringling; a daughter, Mary Thompson, Healdton; a brother, Med; two sisters, Pearl Roberts and Bill Wigham, Ringling; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Son Barns, Joe Welch, R.C. Poteet, Waymon King, Sheet Flinn and Doyle Williams. Honorary bearers are Herman Emmerson, A.J. and Buster Hawkins, Bill and Huton Pemberton.
Reser Funeral Home will direct services.
