Lillian F. (Desautels) Corriveau, 87, died on Friday at Life Care Center, Wilbraham, MA. Born in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Odena (Flebotte) Desautels.
Lillian worked for many years as a cosmetician for Steiger’s and Forbes and Wallace and was a longtime communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Church (formerly St. John the Baptist Church).
Her many hobbies included playing the organ, painting, crafts, quilting, needlepoint and square dancing. She was predeceased by her husband Edward Corriveau in 2005. She is survived by her three sons, Paul Corriveau and his wife Ellen, David Corriveau and his wife Alana, and Peter Corriveau and his wife Beverlee, two brothers Raymond and Richard Desautels, one sister Janet Surniak, three grandchildren Michelle Taylor and her husband Steve, Jesse Corriveau and Zachary Corriveau and one great granddaughter Charlotte Rose Taylor. Lillian’s Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 11AM in St. Elizabeth’s Church, 191 Hubbard St., Ludlow followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Indian Orchard. Visitation will be held at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham on Saturday morning prior to the Funeral Mass from 9 to 10AM. The Corriveau family is grateful to the staff at Life Care Center of Wilbraham for loving and caring for Lillian for the past 8 ½ years.
