Mr. George Daniel Bennett Jr., 73, of 214 E. Hill Street, Warsaw, died Sunday, January 21, 2007, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Bennett served 22 years in the United States Army and retired as a Major. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam and was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal.
