James Estus "Buster" Flake, 79, of Orangeburg, SC, husband of Alice Jane Livingston Flake, passed away, Wednesday, February 15, 2017.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2017, at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, Orangeburg. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, North, SC. The family will receive friends Friday, February 17, 2017 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home, Orangeburg, SC.

Buster was born on May 5, 1937, in North, SC to the late Albert Sidney Flake and the late Nancy McMichael Flake. He retired from Sara Lee Corporation where he worked in sales. He served in the Army National Guard. He was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, James E. "Jim" Flake, Jr. (Sandi), William Joseph "Joey" Flake (Lisa) and Jason Dwight Flake (Amanda); six grandchildren; three brothers, John D. Flake (Shirley), Richard L. "LeGrand" Flake (Joyce) and Burnet M. "Maybank" Flake; a sister, Mary Ann Witt (Tommy). In addition to his parents, Buster was predeceased by brothers, Albert S. "Sidney" Flake, Jr., Dwight E. "Ike" Flake and Mac D. Flake.
