85 year old native dies
Funeral services were held last Friday for Mrs Annie Davis Gribble at the Potts Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Fred Sorrells and Rev Wiley Gibson conducted the service. Burial followed in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ervin and Lonnie Gribble, Bob Long, Horace Nolen, Carl Blanton, and Ross Cabe.
Mrs Gribble was the daughter of Tuck and Margaret Sheets Davis. A native of Macon County, she was born December 12, 1882.
She was a member of the Burningtown Baptist Church.
Mrs Gribble is survived by one son, Odell Gribble of Route 2, Franklin; one brother, Henry Davis, of Belmont, Montana; and one sister, Mrs Laura Beard, of Franklin.
Potts Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
