First wife of Benjamin P. Holland; married Jan. 26, 1843 in Buchanan County, Missouri. They had one son, William Benton Holland (1843-1914)

Then she married Benjamin's first cousin, Jacob Dover Holland about 1846 and removed to Platte County, Missouri. Jacob died in Fort Worth, Texas in 1856, before Eliza was born.

Their children were:

Sarah was a widow and remarried John St. John after 1863, (the death of his first wife. Elizabeth,) who should be buried in the same cemetery as his first wife and children are.

1880 Census• Sarah A. St. John was widow and a servant, living in Lathrop, Clinton, Missouri with her daughter Eliza and her husband George Firkins.
