Ovvie Nell Atkerson Robinson was born September 24, 1933 in Longbranch, Texas to Jewell and Beatrice Britton Atkerson. She was raised and attended school in Byfield and Carthage. Ovvie Nell met Neal Lester Robinson in Houston where he enlisted in the Air Force. They had two weeks to marry and begin her life as an Air Force wife. She raised three children stationed in many areas of the country. She dedicated her life to her husband, children, and family. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother R. H. Atkerson, and sister Janie Ballwebber.
