L. L. Rees, 56, died at 3 p. m. yesterday at his residence, 3215 Odin avenue. Deceased leaves a wife and five small children to mourn his death. The funeral will take place this afternoon from the family residence, Rev. John E. Green officiating. Interment in Hollywood cemetery.

After his death, Jennie married Edwin Wiley Gould in 1904. It appears Edwin Wiley Gould adopted three of the children of Lucius and Jennie Rees; William Edward Rees, Clyde Gilliam Rees and Nona N. Rees.
