Memorial funeral services for Charlotte Larson (nee Hartman), 96, of Virginia Beach, Va., will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Norris-Walen Funeral Home, West Chicago. Born Jan. 8, 1905, in West Chicago, the daughter of Frank and Sarah Hartman, she passed away Friday, Nov. 23, 2001. Burial will be in Glen Oak Cemetery, West Chicago. Mrs. Larson lived in West Chicago until 1973 when she moved to Virginia Beach. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Virginia Beach and a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church of West Chicago. She retired from the George J. Ball Co. in 1965 after 25 years of service, where she worked as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Mended Hearts Inc. of Virginia Beach. Survivors include her daughter, Lois (Donald) Wernick of Virginia Beach; son, Donald (Nancy Bahnfleth) of Cincinnati, Ohio; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Bahnfleth, in 1940, and her second husband, Carl Larson, in 1972. A memorial visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services Saturday, at the funeral home. For information, (630)231-0060.
