Grace Bernice Schumacher, age 91, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 in Seymour.

Christian Wake Services will be held at 6 P.M. Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 10 A.M. Wednesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Deacon Jim Novak and Father Albert Kanjirathumkal officiating.

Burial will be in the Seymour Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.

Grace was born July 8, 1925 in Bomarton, Texas to Van and Oma Laney Vaden. She married C.F. "Carl" Schumacher on February 19, 1952 in Seymour. He passed away August 5, 2005.

She worked as a home health attendant, at the Russell Newman Factory, and at Haggar in Olney.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Sacred Heart Altar Society.

She is survived by one son, Terry Schumacher of Fresno, California; one granddaughter,
Kelly Schumacher of District Height, Maryland; a sister, Evelyn Pace of Waxahachie, Texas, a niece, Janis Pace of Waxahachie, Texas, and numerous other relatives.
