Baptism date at Notre-Dame-de-Cougnes.

Son of Hélie Bourbaut and Marie Noiron who were married in 1644 (marriage contract: January 24, 1644). Hélie was buried at Notre-Dame-de-Cougnes on December 9, 1661 and his wife was buried at the same cemetery on April 20, 1674 (age 65).

Pierre immigrated to New France in 1662. He entered into a marriage contract on October 21, 1676 at Cap-de-la-Madeleine (notary: Jean Cusson) with Anne Bénard. They married at an unknown location.

Anne was only 14 years old when she married a man twice her age. It appears as though they waited a few years to start a family. Their first child was born in January of 1679.

They had thirteen children between 1679 and 1707.

Pierre died between April 27, 1709 and October 2, 1710 most likely in Cap-de-la-Madeleine. There is no record of his burial.
