Judd Franklin Cale died Sunday (July 19, 1959) at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, Va. He was born in Augusta County July 13, 1885, he is survived by one son, Gratton F. Cale, Augusta Springs; one step-son, Page Blakley, Pennsylvania; two half brothers; Emmitt Fridley, Augusta Springs; Mottie Fridley, Augusta Springs, three half sisters, Mrs. Melvin Downey, Augusta Springs; Mrs. Alan Jackson, West Virginia, and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Augusta Springs Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Pressly L. Pullen. Burial was in the Estaline Presbyterian Chapel Cemetery.
