I love the Findagrave website and love that it is free and that it provides so much useful information. This community of volunteers is awesome. It's always exciting to find out something new about our ancestors. Finding out about their lives and things we have in common. This hobby is a lifetime adventure. We are researching genealogy from the following ancestors: Swisher, Sprouse, Douglas, Campbell, Massie, Wallace, Bashaw, Sensabaugh, Liptrap, Mays, Lam, Smith, Wright, Windsor and Walton, just to name some. I am not interested in creating memorials just to see how many I can manage. The memorials I manage are either family or people I have been connected to either by family or friends.
I also volunteer to photograph missing memorial photos from local cemeteries in the Augusta County and Rockbridge County areas. I think that everyone deserves to be remembered and if I am able to provide a photo or other information for family and loved ones then that is a true labor of love. Please let me know if I make a mistake so I can correct it. I do this for my own research and to help others. It's very important to me that the information is correct and accurate.
