Elizabeth Doris McLimore (Dyson)
died January 31, 2017. She was born September 14, 1932 in Holland, Kentucky to the late Robert D. and Sally B. Dyson (Pitchford).
She was a graduate of the University of Louisville, and worked as a teacher for Crooked Creek Middle School in Indianapolis. She gave up her teaching career to devote herself as a full-time wife, home-maker, and mother.
She is survived by her brother Gene Dyson and his wife Linda of Louisville, Kentucky; children Laura Wilson, her husband Ken; John McLimore, his wife Stacia all of Carmel, IN; seven grandchildren: Jason and Kristin Guhl of Kalamazoo, Michigan; Jonathan, Jared, and Elizabeth Guhl; Sarah, Rachel and John Henry McLimore all of Carmel, Indiana; and three great-grandchildren: Kaylyn, Audrey and Elyse Guhl of Kalamazoo, MI. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and a host of long-time friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Henry McLimore in 2010.
Viewing will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan - Carmel, 325 E. Carmel Drive, with the funeral at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Road.
