Vivian Rae Bullough Downward, born on May 27, 1928 in Salt Lake City, passed away on January 25, 2017 at her home in Bountiful, Utah.

Vivian was the daughter of Alma James and Eva Catherine Allred Bullough. She was married to Richard Morris Downward in the Salt Lake Temple on September 1, 1949.

Vivian is survived by her son, Richard Mark Downward (Sheri); her daughters: Coleen Huff (David) and Charlene Downward; 12 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Carolyn Condie (Kent).

Besides her husband and parents, Vivian was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Mary Eileen Downward; a granddaughter, Kathleen Downward; a great-grandson, Logan Kurt Rindlisbacher; and a nephew, Bruce Lynn Bullough.

The family would like to thank Symbii Hospice for their care.

Vivian was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a Temple Worker in the Salt Lake Temple. Vivian and Richard served four full-time missions together in Samoa, Tonga, Scotland and Temple Square. She also served in the RS Presidency at the Heritage Branch when her husband served as Branch President.

Vivian was a registered nurse for 35 years, working mainly at St Mark's Hospital. She loved to read and do puzzles and be with family.

Funeral Services will be held at the Bountiful 20th Ward building, 102 E 1400 S, Bountiful, UT on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 11am. Friends and family may visit on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 7pm to 9pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N Main, Bountiful, UT and on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the church from 9:30am to 10:45am prior to services.
